A Wedding and a Birthday; The Creation of Two Custom Cards
CommissionsIllustrations

I’m definitely not a romantic person and so if I get to use my free will 100%, my kind of wedding card is not going to be anything too romantic. Above is the finished card after my watercolor treatment, below the scanned artwork.
Above you see some images of the process of a custom birthday card I created in March. The first image is the original sketch that the client was happy to proceed with.
The second image is the pencil sketch I make with blue lead before “inking” the lineart with regular, dark lead.
The third image shows the finished lineart that I then scan and color in Photoshop. There’s a time-lapse video of the coloring process coming later on my YouTube channel, so make sure to subscribe there (youtube.com/jasuwonderworld).
The fourth picture shows me holding the printed card, on the right you see the finished image file I used for printing it.
