Jasu Wonder World Calendar 2019 – April (wip)

Another finished illustration for Jasu Wonder World calendar 2019!

This time I painted an animal I’ve never painted before: a sheep. I wanted the flowers around the little lamb to resemble the texture and softness of his woolen coat. This was one of those paintings that required so much of “gentle tapping of the paint brush”, that I’d like to have a machine counting all the times my brush touches the surface of the paper, even when the painting is quite simple like this one.

Lastly, I’m heading to Tampere and Tracon in a couple of days and I’ll have some new prints, magnets and keychains featuring this lamb and some other recent calendar illustrations! Make sure to follow me on Instagram or Facebook to stay updated on these kinds of things.

Once the calendar is available for purchase, you can get it on Wonder SHOP ♥

The time-lapse video of the painting process is coming soon on Jasuwonderworld YouTube channel ♥
