Faunus Lady – A Commissioned Digital Logo Design
CommissionsIllustrations
Last summer I was commissioned a logo for an online store. The client wanted it done digitally, which I was delighted about since I very rarely get to do such commissions. The idea of the logo was to have a portrait of a faunus lady, vaguely resembling the face of the commissioner. Foresty tones, such as different greens and browns, were also something she wanted. I think what I enjoyed creating the most for this logo though, were the horns!
I find my way of painting digitally a little “rigid” but I know it’s because I haven’t got a lot of practice creating digital artworks. I’ll be happy to get some more practice in the future to get my digital painting style look smoother and more confident. Don’t get me wrong, I’m definitely happy with this logo, but I recognize I have plenty of room for improvement and I know the direction I want to take my digital creations from now on.
